Prism Executive have partnered with a global client to appoint a Group Financial Controller into their network of businesses. The Group Financial Controller will lead and manage a finance and administrative structure across the Group to meet the evolving needs and opportunities of a dynamic pace and results-driven organization and finance team.


Reporting directly to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller serves as both a thought partner for setting long-term strategy and a day-to-day manager. The Group Financial Controller will engage in a wide range of functions including oversight of the controls environment, reporting performance, developing financial models and managing budgets; preparation of current financial reports and summaries, creating forecasts predicting future growth, overseeing investment, audit, and legal affairs; and leading talent and technology management. 

 

Scope of the role 

The scope of the position includes daily management of the Finance Team servicing the group businesses and the associated controls environment; management and reporting of the financial affairs; business planning, review and support; treasury; tax planning; investor relations; audit, regulatory reporting and procurement.

Education 

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.

  • Undergraduate or Masters degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of successful experience in a senior leadership role in a Finance department in a business of sufficient scale and complexity

  • Successful experience in driving performance improvement initiatives

  • Proven People Leadership skills 

  • Industry knowledge will be an advantage

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

  • Strong project management skills with a record of developing and strengthening systems and processes
