RETAIL STORE MANAGER | ONSITE | DUBLIN




A global retailer has retained Prism Executive to identify and appoint a Retail Store Manager into their largest branch in Dublin. The Retail Store Manager will be an active member of the senior leadership team, working strategically across the branch network and operationally within the branch – growing and developing the existing team of 10.


The successful appointee will report to the Head of Customer Experience and collaborate with effectiveness in cultivating a robust growth strategy and paced scaling of the branch across all markets – growing the brand portfolio within branch.


With full accountability for the commercial operations and the growth of the sales and operations team in the branch, they will play a pivotal role in all commercial and strategic planning within group, driving a change and transformation agendas across the branch and stakeholders within the business.


The appointee will manage a diverse stakeholder group and will be a key contributor to the overall commercial and operational direction of the branch



Key Accountabilities

  • To deliver store sales within budget, by leading a resourced, motivated and engaged team

  • To ensure that the retail strategy developments are implemented in the store and fully communicated to and understood by the team

  • To fully understand commercial performance, driving sales and maximising margins and profits.

  • Achievement of objectives, sales targets & budgets

  • Reporting on delivery of sales targets and KPI’s

  • Responsibility for Health & Safety on site ensuring all Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times in line with statutory legislation and Company policy addressing any safety concerns as they arise.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • 8+ years experience in a B2B retail environment

  • Experience in a similar senior retail role within a niche or specialist industry

  • A background in B2B sales or business development, particularly in trade and professional markets

  • Familiarity with retail technologies, including CRM systems and analytics tools

  • Previous involvement in growing or scaling a business unit to a high revenue level

  • Strategic Thinking and proven ability to create and execute long-term business strategies

  • Commercial and Financial Savvy with a strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial forecasting

  • Relationship Management, leadership and team building

  • Customer-Centric Approach

  • Marketing knowledge and Technical expertise
