SENIOR HR BUSINESS PARTNER | LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN



A global logistics and supply chain organisation have partnered with Prism Executive to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner for their Dubin operations.


The role will be based in Dublin, with the role holder providing best in class business partnering across the eco system. Be a subject matter expert in employment legislation and best practice process. Apply knowledge of legislation and understanding of good process to advise and support people managers with employee issues and proactively improve the employee relations experience. Manage employee issues and processes through to end. Work with HRD, IBEC, legal to support best practice. Coach the HR partnering team in supporting employee programs, queries and issues.

To support the day to day operations of the HR function. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced HRBP specialist with excellent employee relations knowledge, strong project management skills, recruitment process knowledge and people development experience to contribute to the ongoing maturation of a forward looking People function.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, review, and optimise all local HR policy, processes and procedure across the employee lifecycle in line with regional blueprints, ensuring they are seamlessly maintained and compliant with all local legislation controls.

  • Continuously improve people data processes and reporting - track and analyse trends in reports and dashboards, that will help support the HR function.

  • Assist the HR partnering team in understanding data insights.

  • Manage projects that support key HR priorities, leading the scoping, planning, delivery and reporting against agreed milestones, working collaboratively in partnership with the HR function expertise and wider stakeholders.

  • Proactively support and expand cultural initiatives – employee engagement, employee/manager self-service, digitalisation, career development, health & wellbeing and diversity & inclusion.

  • Support the day to day activities of the HR function to meet the needs of the growing business. Ensure standard operating procedures are understood and adhered to and that all obligations are met in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

  • Coach and support others to contribute to strong team performance and ensure individual goal achievement.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • 3rd level Qualification- BS/BA and 5 years+ of high level professional experience working in a multifaceted HR team a perquisite.

  • Full clean driving license necessary.

  • Expert knowledge of Irish employment legislation, industrial relations/union communications, human resource functions processes, policy and procedure and substantial expertise in using that knowledge to provide strategic advice and support to the business, ensure robust data reporting and processes are in place and utilised.

  • Proven ability to manage projects, including coordinating key resources, creating project schedules & action logs, tracking, risk/issue management, status reporting and key stakeholder comms.

  • Acknowledged team player with advanced influencing and communication abilities and a track record of building strong working relationships and exercising sound judgement and problem solving.

  • Meticulous attention to detail (ensure accuracy of processes and work output) and well developed numerical, data analysis (HR performance reports and presentations) and writing ability (HR contracts, letters and Company comms) with a high standard of administrative and MS Office skills.

  • Experience managing people in a multinational environment with a strong focus on (internal customer) service an advantage.
