TALENT AQUISITION PARTNER | ENERGY MANAGEMENT



A globally recoginised energy management company has retained Prism Executive to appoint a Talent Acquisition Partner into their Irish entity. The role will be based in Ireland, have global remit, and will hold a seat at the global leadership table. A critical appointment to the business, the role holder will make massive inroads across the global ecosystem instilling a best in class recruitment process, be seen as the subject matter expert and influence internal and external stakeholders across all geographies and markets in Ireland, North America, Germany, Sweden and Australia.


The group have a wealth of experience and expertise in supplying, designing, installing and supporting energy monitoring and management systems, critical power and data centre control solutions for a range of Irish and international clients in a variety of business sectors.


This position is a key role within the Global HR team, managing and executing the internal and external talent acquisition activity, establishing talent pools / pipelines and creating diverse candidate slates for all roles they hire for. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional talent acquisition partner with experience in managing end to end hiring needs in the electrical and mechanical engineering space.


Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your experience to ensure hiring managers are provide with a qualified and diverse candidate pool.

  • Consult with and influence hiring managers, and other key stakeholders to develop hiring plans as well as sourcing and selection strategies

  • Facilitate intake meetings to establish clear understanding of position requirements and in partnership with hiring managers develop strategies for sourcing candidates by leveraging recruiting resources such as professional organizations, social media and community associations to attract, engage and recruit candidates

  • Educate stakeholders on a variety of aspects related to recruiting such as talent demand and availability, cost, industry standards, pipeline trends based on skills, sourcing methodology and other key points

  • Drive communication with hiring managers and interview teams providing coaching on the selection and selling process best fit for roles and candidates

  • Act as primary communication point with candidates from initial contact point to close to provide a positive candidate experience


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years agency or relevant in-house experience in sourcing top of the market talent in relevant industry.

  • Deep understanding of the hiring landscape and complexity of talent markets

  • Results driven approach with proven experience sourcing top talent at high scale

  • Proven experience in recommending and using a variety of effective sourcing strategies (with both domestic and international success) to assist in the development of a diverse pipeline of candidates

  • Strong track record in consulting with senior business leaders and managers on the talent acquisition process.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with candidates at all stages

  • Solution focussed and work with data to make decisions

  • Demonstrated knowledge of behaviourally based interviewing techniques

  • Self-starter, flexible and adaptable to constant change with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

  • Able to manage multiple vacancies at one time including administrative tasks

  • Ability to work under pressure but maintain accuracy and confidentiality

  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and flexible juggling responsibilities and priorities to meet business demand

  • Prior experience using Workday as an ATS would be highly desired

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
